When You're Trying to be Vegan but the Meat Calls You
What makes transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle difficult for most people is the pressure we put on ourselves to get it right from the beginning. I've fallen a few times and indulged in my favorite man made foods - but I always get back on track. I'm on a mission. I made this video after sharing a story of my backsliding with a friend I'm helping to eliminate meat and processed foods from her diet. Getting through it is what counts.
This actually happened to me during my transition and I got pass it by constantly eating what I know that is good for me. So if I feel for something sweet I either eat dates or figs to curb cravings. Yes my peeps, when you're transitioning to a plant-based diet you have to be strong and focused but it's totally doable.
